The first week back from my glorious 3 week winter break went surprisingly well - made better by the fact that today was our 90th day of school, which means we're officially halfway through the school year. Only 90 more school days to go until summer vacation. And only a little over 2 months to go until I'm finished with my MA, which is once again gaining control of my life.
This quarter is Robbie's last as a student. For the next few years of his PhD program, he'll strictly be doing research and writing. I know he's looking forward to taking his last midterms and finals, but also wishes he could just be DONE. It's a feeling I know too well. We're sick of being broke semi-college students!
